Historia is a free research tool that finds real sources in public archives and refuses to write the paper. It is a nonprofit programme of The Hack Foundation, a 501(c)(3).
Founded by Bowe Lubin, CEO, a high school student in Los Angeles, who started Historia in May 2025. Jonathan Zhang, CFO, a high school student at St. Albans School, Washington, D.C., joined in August 2026. George Siegel, Ambassador, a student at Lincoln Academy, Maine, joined in September 2026. Like the sources it connects, Historia is a network across the country.
